About me

I was born in 1971 in Istanbul—a city that stands as a bridge between worlds, much like the human soul itself. In my early twenties, while most were navigating the ordinary currents of youth, I felt an undeniable inner pull: a yearning to seek the Creator who brought me into existence out of nothingness. It was not a calculated choice, but an inevitable calling. And so, as anyone who seeks, I set out on the path. For five years, I moved through dozens of communities, gatherings, and lectures, searching for Him in the words of others.

Eventually, I arrived at a simple realization: if I walk the beaten path, I will only find what everyone else finds. I saw that teachers, preachers, and traditions were often describing a God crafted in their own image—the god they had created, rather than the One who created them. Yet I understood that this is how it must be. He is the ultimate Mystery. If God is infinite, how could human knowledge ever claim a boundary? How could anyone dare to say, “I know”?

This brings me to how I view faith and inquiry. To me, religions and philosophies are vehicles meant to guide humanity to the Divine threshold. I seek truth wherever it exists—from the Abrahamic traditions to secular thought—without judging a belief system by the shortcomings of its followers. My focus is not dogma, but the human condition and our collective search for meaning.

I value genuine, inquiring minds—including non-believers who ask honest questions—far more than blind, self-serving piety. However, I choose dialogue over debate. Attempting to argue about the Divine from fundamentally incompatible premises is like trying to play basketball on a billiard table: no matter how intense the game, no real common ground can be reached. I do not seek to convince or win arguments; I simply observe that created beings cannot fully encompass that which encompasses them.

My purpose here is neither to preach nor to instruct. I write to draw just a little closer to Him alongside my readers. Every human being is an unread book, and there are billions of stories I have yet to discover. I welcome your thoughts, objections, and reflections with an open heart.

Let us speak of Him… only Him. What else is truly worth our minds, our hearts, and our brief time here?
