Did God send His prophets only for everyone to accept them? In this sense, a human being’s expectation of unconditional acceptance in every realm is among the things seen at the highest level of arrogance and conceit.
When I hear the phrase “unconditional acceptance,” the life of paradise comes to my mind. It is an impossible, utopian expectation. When even God and His prophets were not unconditionally accepted by humanity, what kind of expectation is this? Two types of unconditional acceptance come to mind. The first is the expectation of being unconditionally accepted despite factors such as a person’s gender, race, belief, disability, or appearance—which is an intensely justified expectation and ought to be that way anyway. For what business does anyone have with a person’s appearance, state, or choices? The other is the expectation directly related to human ego (nafs), which is “impossible to realize.” Why would a human being expect everything they say and do to be unconditionally accepted?
For everything a person says and does to be unconditionally accepted, every single act and word of theirs would need to be entirely correct. Yet, since the concept of correctness is relative, it still would not be unconditionally accepted by everyone. Did God send His prophets only for everyone to accept them? In this sense, a human being’s expectation of unconditional acceptance in every realm is among the things seen at the highest level of arrogance and conceit. What kind of maturity or sainthood did they find within themselves that whatever they say or do, everyone should accept unconditionally? What if one day they claim to be God?
Regrettably, the issue of “unconditional acceptance” is one of the deepest wounds in humanity’s body. What is a condition anyway? Why does it exist? Why is it that when someone asks for something, people first look at whether they are male or female? Why is it that when someone offers advice, people first wonder how much money they have? Yet truth is truth. What does it matter who spoke it? You can present experience as a condition in a job opening, and it is met with understanding. But that is all. It will be a bit painful, but it must be said: conditions exist everywhere in life.
You can more or less guess what kind of treatment a father who brings no money home will receive after a while. Wasn’t it “in good times and in bad times”? Just let those bad times drag out a bit, and see what happens. If your illness lasts a little too long, see how the tone of the boss—for whom you labored for years to help build their business—will change. You learn from a colleague that they are already looking for your replacement. Thousands of such examples could be given. Conditions are always present. Bringing money home regularly is the condition of being a good father. Getting sick as little as possible, and recovering quickly when you do, is the condition of being a good employee. It applies to everyone in every situation because this world is built upon self-interest.

Yet, I know Someone who will accept you unconditionally. Truly!.. Of course, He is none other than God, who created you out of nothingness, who grants you a fresh opportunity every morning despite the mistakes and ingratitude you commit every day, who bestows abundant forgiveness for the little good you do, and who remains deeply forgiving against your many wrongs.

When human beings are not even pleased with their Creator, do you think they will be pleased with you? Understand this: neither your child, nor your spouse, nor your friends, nor anyone else.. No one will love you unconditionally. They will stand beside you only as long as you give them what they want to receive from you. It was always like this, but you chose not to see it.
